About Us

Nice Heating and Solar are independent consultants advising businesses and consumers of practical uses of renewable technology. We offer free independent surveys and produce comprehensive reports on the suitability of renewable technology.

We arrange for quotations from local Renewable Technology installers without the need for those companies to visit the property. This protects the property owner from confusing and sometimes contradictory presentations and pressure selling tactics.

We present all the quotations and options from the various installers to the property owner without bias or favour . We are paid for this service by the energy supply companies.

Our surveys are totally free and without obligation so you can find out if a renewable technology would be right for your property.

We only offer services from fully vetted and qualified engineers who are specialist engineers with many years of experience in the renewable energy sector.

New Clean Energy Partnership changed its legal status to Nice Heating Ltd on 17th September 2019.  We will be continuing to supply our service without compromise as we have done for the past 13 years and still deliver competitive quotations.  We are a British Company and source all our materials from UK firms whenever possible helping to create and maintain Jobs in the UK.

Microgeneration Certification Scheme is the nationally recognised quality assurance scheme, supported by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ)  MCS certifies microgeneration technologies used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources.  MCS is also an eligibility requirement for the Government’s financial incentives.

All recommended installers are members of HIES or RECC customer protection.  The Home Insulation & Energy Systems Contractors Scheme (HIES) is a consumer protection organisation covering the installation of renewable energy products. They ensure that consumers are dealt with professionally, courteously and sympathetically. Any products installed by HIES Members must be fit for purpose, installed professionally and come with comprehensive guarantees which are covered by specialist insurance providing consumers with a high level of protection.

RECC sets out high consumer protection standards for businesses who are selling or leasing renewable energy generation systems to domestic consumers. RECC is approved by Chartered Trading Standards Institute as part of the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme and is also a TrustMark Scheme Operator. RECC Members signal they have agreed to abide by the high standards set out in the Consumer Code, following the consumer journey from start to finish, and in the Bye-Laws. Both the Code and the Bye-Laws dovetail with the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) installer standards.
