Octopus Energy will buy electricity you export to the Grid from your solar panels at the same price you pay for electricity from the Grid. This means your electricity bill could be zero or you could make a profit. Solar panels, on average, increase a property value by 20%. In the past five years, solar panels have halved in price and doubled in efficiency. However, prices are starting to rise as demand for solar panels exceed supply. Grant funding may be available for solar installations under the Government ECO scheme.
