The installation begins with the removal of your old glass or polycarbonate roof panels. These are replaced with high thermal efficient roof panels. . These panels in themselves have a thermal efficiency of 0.019 W/mK, a measurement of thermal efficiency.

We then cover the roof with a multi-layer insulation quilt which offers both thermal efficiency and is a highly breathable membrane which is both water resistant and vapour permeable. This multi-layer insulation is 40mm thick and comprises of 11 layers of recycled polyester wadding and true aluminium effectively dealing with condensation and all forms of energy transfer.
The thermal efficiency of this quilt is equivalent to 75mm of mineral fibre insulation giving up to a 76% reduction in heat loss. This multi-layer insulation when combined with our insulation roof panels will give a thermal efficiency better than 0.18 W/m2K, which is the building regulations requirement for renovation on pitched and flat roofs.
